David Kaplan has apparently decided not to run in the Fall general election. The Star says today that Kaplan, 46, who resigned as Health Minister in 2009 over the eHealth furore, will not seek re-election in the vote held October 9, 2011. His departure paves the way for the Liberals to field local Councillor Shelley Carroll or Toronto District School Board Trustee Michael Coteau this fall. Here.
