Alzheimer patient bought $13,000 in jewellery

There are stories that I feel should really be must reading for families and this is one. In tells of a 78-year-old Pickering area woman who purchased thousands of dollars in jewellery over a period of months. Subsequently she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Her husband admits having seen the growing purchases on their credit card. The total was some $13,000. Now of course the question is what should be done by the re retailer.
